Charley Boorman's Bobber

We first met Charley at the NEC Show in 2006 when he presented us with Best in Show for Psy-Bawg.
Along the way we have kept in touch over various things and we have started talking about our common interest in bikes and the custom world. After many conversations we discussed building him a bike and now we are very lucky to have been commissioned to do so.
We were obviously very excited about this so Terry and I sat down straight away and started sketching some designs. We knew roughly what sort of style Charley is into as he told us a rough history of his riding so far and told us that he wanted something that can be used daily regardless of the weather, and also something that didn’t need too much pampering.
MCN have been very interested in following our progress and came along when we introduced Charley to the first stages of the build of his old skool bobber. He seemed to be really pleased with what had done so far. As he said, “I’m aiming to get it to look so I can ride it every day for weeks on end and it doesn’t matter if I clean it or not”.
